Faculty Spotlight - Building Peaceful Societies
Conflict is a normal fact of life, but it doesn’t have to be so painful and destructive. Instead, building peaceful societies requires that we support constructive efforts to resolve conflicts, and that we listen, dialogue, and empathize across lines of difference. Dr. Douglas Irvin-Erickson, Assistant Professor for the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution will discuss how young people can contribute to building peace in their communities, their country, and their world.
